International experts meeting at the GCI’s Earthen Architecture Initiative

In December 2023 the Getty Conservation Institute organized a meeting of international experts to reflect on past successes and challenges about earthen architecture and its conservation, where ISCEAH members had an important role, with around 50% of the presence. 2023 ISCEAH Elections

A new ISCEAH Board of Members and Bureau have been elected to start from December 2023 and January 2024, respectively, its three years mandate.

Statement concerning the earthquake in Morocco and damage caused to architectural heritage

We are deeply saddened by the recent earthquake in Morocco and subsequent loss of human life. No consolation can be offered for this human tragedy. From ICOMOS-Spain, ISCEAH (International Scientific Committee on Earthen Architectural Heritage) and CIAV (International Scientific Committee on Vernacular Architecture) we would like to transmit our deepest heartfelt condolences to the loved ones of those who have lost their lives or been wounded as a result of this earthquake.
