The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi with ICOMOS–ISCEAH, in consultation with our partners, have taken the difficult decision to postpone TERRA 2026 – the 14th World Congress on Earthen Architecture, which was scheduled to be held in Al Ain in April 2026 to April 2027.
The decision was taken following an in-depth discussion with our partners, and based on an evaluation of many operational and logistical elements related to regional airspace volatility and international participation, to ensure the quality of the experience, operational excellence, and the continuity of international engagement
We remain fully committed to hosting the 14th edition of TERRA in 2027 and will confirm the new dates as soon as possible.
