ISCEAH is proud to had played an integral role as part of the organizing committee for Africa 24, the much-anticipated event celebrating Africa’s rich cultural and architectural heritage. Organized by ICOMOS inetrnational and hosted by Swahilipot Hub from 25 to 29 November in Mombasa, Kenya.
ISCEAH involvement reflects its dedication to fostering dialogue and knowledge exchange about the preservation and advancement of heritage we want for Africa. ISCEAH extends its gratitude to the following ISCEAH members who have actively contributed to the success of this initiative: Maddalena Achenza (President), Tinhinane Bachir Cherif (Emergent Professional representative), Alyssa Barry and Luc Pecquet.
Additionally, we express our sincere thanks to the ISCEAH members who presented their works during the scientific sessions (online and in parson): Elena De Santis (Italy), Abdoulaye Cisse (Mali), Bako Rakotomamonjy (Madagascar) and Tom Leiermann (Germany).
This exchange of knowledge has greatly enhanced the depth and impact of the event.
We look forward to continuing this journey with all colleagues and partners, ensuring that Africa 24 becomes a landmark event for cultural heritage on the continent and beyond.
